Safeguarding
As a school we are committed to safeguarding and meeting the needs of children.
All those who come into contact with children through their every day work whether paid or voluntary have a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
The Recruitment and Selection procedures at Snarestone CofE (A) Primary School and Snarestone Cygnets Pre-school are robust, and require all staff, students, volunteers and governors to undergo an enhanced DBS Disclosure which confirms their suitability to work with children.
Our safeguarding policies are available to view in the office, or by downloading the documents below.
Children also learn about how to keep themselves safe through a quality PSHE and Citizenship curriculum. This includes strategies on dealing with bullying and staying safe online. We have recently achieved the Beyond Bullying accreditation.
