Our Governing Board is responsible for admissions and follows the principles set out in the relevant Leicestershire coordinated admissions scheme. Our Pupil Admission Number (PAN) is 15.

Applying for a Reception place

If your child is due to start school for the first time, you must apply through your home Local Authority.

If you live in Leicestershire, applications should be made through Leicestershire County Council.

In-year (mid-term) admissions

If you are moving to the area or would like your child to join Snarestone during the school year, please contact the school first to ask whether we have a place available in your child's year group.

We will be happy to arrange a visit with a member of our leadership team.

You must also make an in-year application through your home Local Authority.

Leicestershire County Council will notify you of the outcome of your application, normally within 10 school days.

Admissions policy

Admissions to Snarestone Church of England (Aided) Primary School are made in accordance with our admissions policy and the relevant coordinated admissions arrangements.

The number of children admitted to each year group is normally limited by our PAN of 15. National class-size legislation may also affect the number of places available in Key Stage 1. Our current Admissions Policy is below.
