Our School Parliament
Our School Parliament in Snarestone gives every child a voice. It helps pupils develop confidence, leadership skills, and an understanding of democracy while playing an active role in improving our school.

What is the School Parliament?
Our School Parliament helps pupils:
- Work together and share ideas
- Learn about democracy and leadership
- Represent their classmates
- Help improve our school community in Snarestone and beyond

How Does It Work?
- Each class elects Members of School Parliament (MSPs)
- Meetings take place once every half-term
- Pupils share ideas, suggestions, and feedback
- Head Boy and Head Girl represent pupil voice at leadership and governor meetings

What Do MSPs Do?
MSPs:
- Gather ideas from their class
- Share updates and decisions
- Help turn suggestions into action
- Explain clearly if ideas cannot be implemented
How Do Staff Support?
Staff ensure that:
- Meetings take place regularly
- Pupils are supported to lead discussions
- Time is given for class feedback and pupil voice
